
Austrian goalkeeper Pavao Pervan has extended his contract with VfL Wolfsburg for a ninth season, keeping him as the club’s back-up goalkeeper through June 30, 2027.
The 38-year-old agreed to another year with the Lower Saxony team, confirming the deal publicly this afternoon.
Pervan expressed happiness about continuing his journey with Wolfsburg, stating that he aims to contribute through his attitude and commitment in recognition of the trust shown in him.
Since joining from LASK Linz in July 2018, Pervan has made 45 appearances for the club.
VfL’s sporting director described Pervan as indispensable to the squad and dressing room, highlighting his professionalism, loyalty, and commitment as reasons for keeping him as a key member of the team.
