19-year-old Filippo Mané has signed his first professional contract with Borussia Dortmund.
Borussia Dortmund has confirmed a new long-term contract for centre-back Filippo Mané, extending until 2028. The announcement was made on Monday.
Sporting director Sebastian Kehl stated, "Filippo has developed very well with us over the last three years and has earned this professional contract. We want to continue on this path with him and continue to support him because he has the right attitude and we still see a lot of potential in him."
Mané, who joined Dortmund from Sampdoria in January 2022, expressed his enthusiasm, saying, “Borussia Dortmund is a great club. I feel very comfortable here and I am happy to continue wearing this shirt. My goal is to continue improving and, after playing for the youth teams, to be on the pitch with the first team soon.”
