Scouts from Liverpool and Manchester United were present as RB Leipzig secured a 1-0 win over Borussia Mönchengladbach at the Red Bull Arena, with monitoring of RB Leipzig captain David Raum reported.
Both Premier League clubs are among several top sides linked with Yan Diomande, and Raum was described as one of the players being observed during the match.
The 27-year-old left-back, who was handed the captain’s armband last summer, has recorded three goals and eight assists in 32 appearances this season.
Raum has previously expressed openness to a move to the Premier League, noting its appeal and his enjoyment of the league’s strength and physical demands.
With a contract through 2027, Raum indicated he had not yet discussed an extension with Leipzig, emphasizing his focus on his current role and season goals, including aiming for a second World Cup appearance after the season.
