Serge Gnabry has been cleared to play for Bayern Munich in their Champions League return match against Real Madrid, after recovering from a minor knee issue.
His fitness was confirmed by Bayern coach Vincent Kompany at a press conference, with the 30-year-old set to feature for the full 90 minutes in the second leg of the quarter-final.
Kompany noted that the team had traveled extensively recently and opted not to risk Gnabry when a full squad was available, adding that the focus is on readiness rather than specific minute targets.
Bayern enter the match with a 2-1 lead, with only Sven Ulreich (groin) and Lennart Karl (hamstring) unavailable.
