Freiburg Defender Fined €15,000 by DFB Following Outburst After Bayern Defeat

A German football player has been sanctioned for unsportsmanlike conduct following a Bundesliga match last weekend. The 32-year-old acted outside the referees' changing room after his team's 3-2 defeat.

The disciplinary decision, issued by the federation's sports court, imposed a fine of €15,000 on the player, which has become a legally binding agreement.

The misconduct occurred after Freiburg's late loss to Bayern Munich. Reports state the match referee and his team were inside the referees' dressing room when the player shouted outside and kicked the door from the outside.

It has been confirmed that the player has apologized to the referee and the officiating team for his actions last weekend.
