Life at Bayern Munich is progressing positively for Luis Díaz, who has made an impressive start following his summer transfer from Liverpool.
The 28-year-old winger has scored three goals and recorded two assists in his first four matches for the German champions.
Díaz expressed his excitement about his swift adaptation to the club, stating, “It's definitely always special to play for a big club, and Bayern is one of the big clubs. They gave me an incredible welcome and treated me well,” during a press conference with the Colombian national team.
He emphasized the importance of a warm welcome for quick integration, noting, “That's very important to integrate quickly, and they did that really well. I'm very happy. I joined the right team, the right group. I'll continue to work hard with both feet on the ground and focus on what's to come. This was just the beginning.”
Díaz also contributed to Colombia's recent 3-0 victory over Bolivia, where he provided an assist.
