RB Leipzig has announced a post-season tour to South Africa, during which the team will play against Mamelodi Sundowns. The trip follows the conclusion of the 2025/26 Bundesliga season.
The tour, named “RE KAOFELA” (meaning “All Together” in English), will have the squad based in Johannesburg from 26 to 30 May 2026. A match against South African champions Mamelodi Sundowns is scheduled for 29 May in Pretoria, with a 20:00 local kickoff at Lucas Moripe Stadium.
RB Leipzig described South Africa as an exciting football market and a culturally impressive destination, aiming to inspire global interest with its attacking style of play. The club noted its responsibility to represent Leipzig while on tour and to engage with Mamelodi Sundowns, a club with significant international recognition.
This visit marks Leipzig’s third major international tour, following trips to the United States in 2024 and Brazil in 2025.
