Germany coach Julian Nagelsmann has confirmed discussions with Rudi Völler regarding Borussia Dortmund attacker Karim Adeyemi's ongoing illegal weapons case.
Reports indicate that Adeyemi has received a penal order and been fined €450,000 for possession of illegal weapons, specifically a brass knuckle and an electric taser.
During a press conference, Nagelsmann acknowledged the situation, stating that he and Völler have spoken with Adeyemi. However, he emphasized that the team's immediate focus is on the upcoming World Cup qualifier against Slovakia.
“Rudi and I have spoken with him,” Nagelsmann remarked, adding that the matter requires significant attention but must be addressed after the important match.
Adeyemi is expected to be included in the squad for the qualifier, where a draw will suffice for Germany to secure a spot in the 2026 World Cup.
