Bayern Munich's Tom Bischof has made progress in his recovery from appendix surgery, as announced by the club on Monday.
The 20-year-old central midfielder has returned to partial team training after undergoing the procedure.
Bischof, who joined Bayern from Hoffenheim over the summer, has yet to make his Bundesliga debut for the club due to his recovery.
Last season, he was a significant contributor for Hoffenheim, scoring five goals and providing two assists in 31 league appearances.
Bayern Munich, having won their first two Bundesliga matches of the season, will face Hamburger SV in their upcoming league match on Saturday evening.
