Borussia Mönchengladbach coach Gerardo Seoane is anticipating improved performances from Haris Tabakovic.
Three matches into his tenure with Borussia Mönchengladbach, the Hoffenheim loanee has yet to score his first goal for the team. The 31-year-old's most recent appearance was in Gladbach’s 2-0 friendly victory over Schalke 04, where his performance did not meet the expectations of his coach.
“He would certainly agree if we said that he didn’t have such a good game,” Seoane remarked in an interview. “We will make good use of the week to build his confidence and improve his understanding of the processes and timing,” he added.
Roland Virkus, the sporting managing director at Borussia Mönchengladbach, expressed his support for Tabakovic, stating, “I would like Haris, who does a lot for the team and works hard, to score a goal. That would help both him and us.”
Tabakovic will have another opportunity to score when Borussia Mönchengladbach hosts Werder Bremen on Sunday.
