Two players from Sandro Wagner's team may transfer before mid-September, despite the Bundesliga season already commencing.
Steve Mounié's anticipated move to Angers SCO was halted at the last minute due to financial issues faced by the French club. However, the FC Augsburg striker remains a candidate for a transfer to Türkiye, where the transfer window remains open until September 12.
As reported by Kicker.de, Alanyaspor is currently the frontrunner to secure Mounié's signing, with another unnamed club also showing interest. Mounié, who joined Augsburg a year ago, is under contract until 2027.
Additionally, Yusuf Kabadayi is set to make another attempt to leave Augsburg, with a loan offer from Süper Lig club Caykur Rizespor on the table. A potential loan to VfL Bochum was unsuccessful, as the second division club expressed concerns regarding Kabadayi.
Kabadayi has faced legal issues in the past, including a reported custody incident for assault a few months ago. He has also commented on the ongoing conflict between Israel and Palestine on social media.
