Frans Krätzig, a former Bayern Munich player, recently discussed his experiences at the club in an interview. At the end of May, Krätzig announced his departure from Germany after RB Salzburg made a €3.5 million offer.
Despite leaving, he has not dismissed the possibility of returning to Bayern Munich in the future. Krätzig stated, “Bayern is one of the biggest clubs in the world. Anyone who doesn't want to play for Bayern has misunderstood the football business.” He expressed his ambition to develop further at Salzburg before considering a return, saying, “I'll take step one, two, and three here. Maybe step four will be a return to FC Bayern.”
Krätzig also addressed the common perception that Bayern does not provide sufficient opportunities for their youth players. He noted that during his time at the club, he felt that the academy players received considerable attention, as evidenced by his participation in the Asia tour. “Of course, it's nice when young players get chances. But Bayern is one of the biggest clubs in the world, so it's not that easy to reach the top,” he added.
