According to TBR Football, Arsenal has entered the competition with Aston Villa and Newcastle United to acquire Barcelona forward Ferran Torres next year. The Gunners were expected to strengthen their attacking lineup during the summer transfer window but only managed to secure one player, Raheem Sterling, on loan from Chelsea. As the new year approaches, the club is anticipated to enhance their squad, and reports suggest they are keeping an eye on Torres, who has seen his position diminish under Hansi Flick. Torres was previously linked to Arsenal in late 2021, but he ultimately signed with Barcelona from Manchester City. Since then, he has scored 26 goals and provided 15 assists for the club. Now, with his starting spot no longer guaranteed, Arsenal may consider bringing him back to the Premier League when the transfer window reopens in January.
