Enzo Maresca confirms Chelsea star will face Panathinaikos

Chelsea manager Enzo Maresca has announced that goalkeeper Filip Jorgensen will participate in the Conference League match against Panathinaikos tomorrow. The Danish player missed the squad for the Liverpool match last weekend due to concussion protocols, but he has since been cleared to play. In today's press conference, Maresca confirmed that Jorgensen is ready for selection and will take the field on Thursday night. Maresca stated: "He's available and is going to play." Robert Sanchez has been the starting goalkeeper in the Premier League, but his position is currently uncertain. He has made several individual mistakes, and his poor decision-making played a role in Liverpool's winning goal last weekend. If Jorgensen continues to perform well, he may enter the manager's plans for the league as well, especially if Sanchez commits more significant errors. Chelsea will face Panathinaikos in Athens tomorrow before hosting Newcastle United in a Premier League match at Stamford Bridge on Sunday.
