Harry Kane is unlikely to feature for Bayern Munich against Freiburg after suffering a minor training issue while with the England squad during international duty.
The club plans to rest Kane during the Bundesliga match to prioritize the upcoming Champions League first leg against Real Madrid, with the aim of having him fit for the midweek European clash.
Kane has only missed two Bundesliga matches this season, the other absence being a calf injury in March that also kept him out of the first leg of the Champions League against Atalanta.
If Kane is unavailable, Bayern could start Serge Gnabry as the central striker, while Nicolas Jackson remains suspended following a red card in a recent draw with Bayer Leverkusen.
Kane remains the Bundesliga's top scorer with 31 goals and has an additional ten goals in the Champions League.
