Niclas Füllkrug remains a legitimate candidate for Germany's World Cup roster despite not having played for the national team since June.
The German squad is reportedly considering him as the third striker behind Kai Havertz and Nick Woltemade, with Deniz Undav earmarked for a midfield role behind Jamal Musiala and Serge Gnabry.
Füllkrug joined AC Milan on loan from West Ham in January seeking more playing time, and has scored once in 14 appearances for the Serie A club. He has 14 goals in 24 appearances for Germany.
