Germany return questions met with humorous reply from Thomas Müller about bringing football boots

Thomas Müller has ruled out returning from international retirement for Germany, despite a lighthearted moment when asked about the possibility on MagentaTV. He emphasized there is a zero chance of reviving his national team career.

The Bayern Munich and Vancouver Whitecaps veteran, who made 131 appearances and scored 45 goals for Germany before retiring after Euro 2024, joked about theoretical scenarios but clarified he does not foresee a comeback. He quipped that if Germany coach Julian Nagelsmann called him, it would indicate a significant problem for the coach.

Since joining the Vancouver Whitecaps, Müller has been productive, scoring 11 goals in 22 MLS appearances. He will also serve as a pundit for MagentaTV during this summer’s World Cup.
