Konrad Laimer has confirmed that contract talks with Bayern Munich have quieted down for the moment, with discussions about a possible extension beyond 2027 currently on hold.
A recent report indicated that Bayern’s initial offer did not meet Laimer's expectations, and the 28-year-old, who earns an estimated €8-9 million including bonuses, has paused negotiations.
Laimer, speaking briefly to Sport Bild, said there aren’t many talks at the moment and that he remains relaxed, adding that one should not overthink the situation.
The Austrian international joined Bayern in 2023 and has since made 118 appearances, scoring six goals and providing 16 assists.
