
Christian Wück has announced the squad for Germany’s Women National Team ahead of the two-legged final against Spain in the UEFA Women’s Nations League.
Notable inclusions in the squad are 35-year-old goalkeeper Ann-Katrin Berger, who returns from injury, and Manchester City center-back Rebecca Knaak, who also rejoins the team after missing last month’s matches against France due to injury. Wück has also recalled Sarai Linder and Lisanne Gräwe for the 23-player squad, while Carlotta Wamser from Bayer Leverkusen will miss the matches due to injury.
As of now, 37,000 tickets have been sold for the first leg, which is scheduled to take place next Friday at Fritz-Walter Stadion in Kaiserslautern. The return leg is set for December 2nd in Madrid. Spain previously eliminated Germany from the Euro 2025 semi-finals and won the inaugural Nations League tournament last year.
