Mainz goalkeeper Robin Zentner is a doubt for Saturday's Bundesliga match against RB Leipzig after withdrawing from training on Tuesday due to back problems.
According to local reports, the 30-year-old goalkeeper did not participate in Wednesday's training session. A decision regarding his availability is not expected until Friday, as only an athletic session is scheduled for Thursday.
Zentner has been the starting goalkeeper in all five of Mainz's competitive games this season. If he is unable to play, 24-year-old Lasse Rieß is anticipated to take his place.
