Borussia Mönchengladbach have terminated the contract of head coach Gerardo Seoane following a significant 0-4 loss to Werder Bremen.
This defeat leaves the team with only one point after three matches in the Bundesliga.
Managing director for sport Roland Virkus stated, “After reviewing the start to our season intensely, it has become clear to us that a change at the head coach position is necessary.”
He further expressed that after ten Bundesliga games without a victory, the club lost confidence in Seoane's ability to lead a turnaround.
