Julian Brandt, midfielder for Borussia Dortmund, has reportedly undergone surgery during the international break.
According to Sport1, Brandt had surgery on his scaphoid due to a wrist injury sustained during the Club World Cup, which has continued to affect him.
Fortunately, the 29-year-old is expected to have a short recovery period and may return to training later this week.
This development raises the possibility that he could be available for Dortmund’s away match against Heidenheim on Saturday.
This season, Brandt has made three appearances for Dortmund, scoring one goal.
