Die Adler have sold their second high-profile striker after Omar Marmoush last January.
Liverpool have officially completed the signing of Hugo Ekitiké from Eintracht Frankfurt, as confirmed by both clubs.
The French marksman has joined the Reds for €95 million, making him Frankfurt's joint-highest record sale.
Ekitiké was reportedly close to signing with Newcastle United before the reigning Premier League champions made their move.
His performance last season, which included 15 goals and 8 assists, contributed to Frankfurt's successful return to the Champions League. He has signed a contract with Liverpool that extends until 2031.
The 23-year-old initially joined Die Adler on loan in February 2024, with a purchase option of €16.5 million later activated.
This transfer marks Liverpool's third signing from the Bundesliga, following the earlier acquisitions of Jeremie Frimpong and Florian Wirtz.
