Köln is considering a significant transfer fee for their 18-year-old winger, Said El Mala, who may be targeted by Brighton & Hove Albion this summer.
El Mala had a noteworthy season on loan at Viktoria Köln in the 3. Liga, but his performance in the U19 Euros has substantially increased his market value.
He emerged as a standout player during Germany's journey to the semi-finals. Local reports indicate that Brighton has already submitted a double-digit million offer for El Mala, who has yet to make his first-team debut.
The winger's contract with Köln extends until 2029, and the club initially acquired him for €300,000 from Viktoria Köln before loaning him back. However, reports suggest that Köln currently considers him "unsaleable."
