Germany's popular tabloid reports that Bayern Munich is monitoring Benfica defender Tomás Araújo as a potential replacement for Kim Min-Jae.
Bayern is open to selling the Korean defender if a suitable offer is received this summer.
Araújo, however, is under a lengthy contract with Benfica that extends until 2029, which could make him an expensive acquisition.
Currently, Bayern plans to assess Kim's performance in the coming weeks, but Araújo remains a strong option should a transfer occur.
The 23-year-old defender had an impressive season in Liga Portugal last year, playing in 28 matches, scoring once, and providing two assists.
