Bild has reported on the fee that would prompt VfB Stuttgart to consider selling striker Nick Woltemade, amid speculation linking him to Bayern Munich.
Since joining Stuttgart on a free transfer from Werder Bremen last summer, Woltemade has become a pivotal player for the team. The club is reportedly only open to offers starting at €40 million for the Germany Under-21 international.
If sold for this amount, Woltemade would become Stuttgart's record sale, surpassing the previous record held by Benjamin Pavard, who was transferred to Bayern for €35 million in the summer of 2019.
However, it remains uncertain whether Woltemade is inclined to leave Stuttgart at this time. Reports indicate that the striker is not currently considering a move, despite the potential for a significant increase in his annual wages of €1.5 million elsewhere.
Woltemade's contract with Stuttgart is set to run until 2028.
