Eintracht Frankfurt is reportedly prepared to invest €18-20 million in acquiring Jonathan Burkardt from Mainz during the summer transfer window, according to sources from Sky Germany.
Burkardt has showcased impressive performance this season, recording 16 goals and 3 assists.
In addition to Burkardt, Frankfurt is also considering Hannover 96 striker Nicolo Tresoldi as a potential alternative, with an estimated cost of €4-5 million.
However, Bayern Munich has also shown interest in the 24-year-old Burkardt, with Bayer Leverkusen among other clubs expressing similar intentions.
Mainz is aiming to retain their leading scorer through the 2025-26 season, but multiple clubs appear to be vying for his signature.
