After Eintracht Frankfurt's victory over SC Freiburg, the club's boss Markus Krösche addressed ongoing speculation regarding Omar Marmoush's potential transfer to Manchester City.
Despite the transfer rumors, the Egyptian striker showcased his talents on the field, scoring one goal and providing two assists in a decisive 4-1 win.
Prior to the match, there were uncertainties about Marmoush's participation due to the speculation surrounding his future. However, Krösche confirmed in a post-match interview that as long as no transfer occurs, Marmoush will remain an integral part of the team.
"He's an Eintracht Frankfurt player, why shouldn't he play?" Krösche stated. He acknowledged interest from another club but emphasized that the situation remains unchanged for the time being.
Krösche added, "We will see what the future holds in the next few days. And as long as he's an Eintracht Frankfurt player and continues to perform, he'll play."
Eintracht Frankfurt will next face Borussia Dortmund in their Bundesliga campaign on Friday.
