TSG Hoffenheim have confirmed the signing of Nigerian striker Gift Orban from Olympique Lyon.
The 22-year-old striker has officially joined Hoffenheim on a long-term deal, as announced by the Bundesliga club on Thursday evening.
Andreas Schicker, Hoffenheim's managing director for sport, stated, "With Gift Orban, we have found exactly the kind of pacey striker we were looking for." He added, "Gift has repeatedly demonstrated his ability to score goals and his love for the game at his previous clubs, so we are convinced that his skills will give our team more versatility in attack."
Hoffenheim reportedly paid €9 million to secure Orban's transfer to Germany.
