Eintracht Frankfurt has received a positive update as left-back Nathaniel Brown and central midfielder Oscar Højlund have returned to training ahead of their Bundesliga match against Wolfsburg.
Both players missed the previous week’s 2-2 draw with Hoffenheim due to illness but are now available for selection, as confirmed by Eintracht coach Dino Toppmöller during a press conference on Friday.
Toppmöller stated, “One or two players have had minor muscle issues, but nothing drastic. Oscar Højlund is available again - he and Nene Brown have returned to training."
However, he noted that new signing Elye Wahi will not be an option for the upcoming match and indicated that changes would be made to the lineup following a 2-0 defeat to AS Roma in the Europa League.
“We want to have fresh legs for Sunday. A few players who didn’t start yesterday have a decent chance of being in the starting line-up," Toppmöller added.
