Chelsea have reportedly submitted an initial offer of €20 million to acquire Villarreal goalkeeper Filip Jorgensen, as per Fabrizio Romano. The club currently has Robert Sanchez, Kepa Arrizabalaga, and Djordje Petrovic as their goalkeeping options under manager Enzo Maresca. Arrizabalaga has decided to move on, and Petrovic may also depart due to his average distribution. The club has made an initial proposal to sign Jorgensen, who has expressed interest in joining during the current transfer window. Sanchez is expected to be the starting goalkeeper next season, but Maresca is eager to add another goalkeeper who excels in playing with the ball at his feet. Jorgensen is also known for his strong handling and led La Liga in saves for Villarreal last season. Additionally, Maresca is looking to bring in a new striker and a right winger before the new league campaign begins.
