Borussia Dortmund have announced their squad for the upcoming Champions League knockout-phase first leg against Atalanta at Signal Iduna Park. The match is scheduled for Tuesday night.
The club will be without four centre-backs—Nico Schlotterbeck, Niklas Süle, Emre Can and Filippo Mané—which has led to the inclusion of younger defenders Luca Reggiani, Elias Benkara and Almugera Kabar in the squad. A Ukrainian midfielder, 20-year-old Danylo Krevsun, is also listed as part of the team.
The squad selections include the following players:
Goalkeepers: Gregor Kobel, Alexander Meyer, Silas Ostrzinski
Defenders: Waldemar Anton, Luca Reggiani, Elias Benkara, Daniel Svensson, Ramy Bensebaini, Yan Couto, Julian Ryerson, Almugera Kabar
Midfielders: Danylo Krevsun, Felix Nmecha, Jobe Bellingham, Carney Chukwuemeka, Marcel Sabitzer, Salih Özcan, Julian Brandt, Samuele Inácio
Forwards: Karim Adeyemi, Maximilian Beier, Serhou Guirassy, Fábio Silva
