Yan Diomande has had a breakout season in the Bundesliga, and RB Leipzig are seeking a record fee as they look to cash in on the 19-year-old. Leipzig signed him in the summer of 2025 for €20 million, when his market value was €1.5 million. He has already recorded 11 goal involvements in 18 games for the club.
Bayern Munich are reportedly very interested in acquiring him, but would need to pay at least €100 million to secure a transfer. Leipzig are aiming to make him their new record sale; the current most expensive outgoing transfer is Josko Gvardiol's move to Manchester City for €90 million.
According to transfer expert Florian Plettenberg, the rest of the season and the upcoming World Cup will influence Diomande's value. If his value rises, Bayern would face an even tougher bid; if it does not go up, they could be out of the race for the young superstar.
