Eintracht Frankfurt will transfer Elye Wahi as part of the upcoming transfer window, according to reports from a French news source.
The club has reached an agreement with OGC Nice, with reports indicating that Frankfurt will receive a loan fee of €1.5 million for Wahi.
The 22-year-old striker is anticipated to arrive in the south of France on Wednesday to undergo a medical examination.
Wahi, who has not been a regular starter, will be loaned to Nice until the end of the season, and the Ligue 1 club will cover his entire salary during this period.
Having transferred from Olympique Marseille to the Bundesliga club for €26 million nearly a year ago, Wahi has struggled to meet expectations associated with the fee.
After less than a year in Germany, he is returning to France, where he aims to regain his previous form.
Wahi had also been linked to a move to Turkish Süper Lig club Galatasaray, but OGC Nice has secured his transfer.
