Raum Acknowledges Positive Outcome Following RB Leipzig's Draw Against Gladbach

RB Leipzig secured a 0-0 draw against Borussia Mönchengladbach in a closely contested Bundesliga match at Borussia-Park on Friday night.

Following the match, Leipzig captain David Raum expressed satisfaction with earning a point. He noted the significance of the draw given the circumstances, including an offside goal and a penalty situation that favored Mönchengladbach. "When you look at the offside goal and the penalty situation for Gladbach, we’ll happily take the point. They’re in good form and playing here is always tough. We weren’t incisive enough and maybe a bit hesitant at times," Raum stated.

Raum came close to scoring for Leipzig late in the match, but his shot hit the inside of the post. "With my chance, I tried to be too precise – just a few centimetres missing. Shame, but maybe it goes in next time," he reflected.
