In an exclusive interview, football agent George Gardi discussed his efforts in facilitating Leroy Sané's transfer to Galatasaray.
Gardi acknowledged the challenges involved, noting that Sané received offers from prominent clubs in England and Germany, as well as a substantial proposal from Saudi Arabia. He emphasized the potential for Sané to become a key player at Galatasaray, stating that the club's environment could provide him with significant emotional fulfillment and the chance to achieve European success, something the team had not accomplished previously.
Gardi highlighted the urgency of the transfer, explaining that he urged the club's board to act quickly to secure Sané’s signing before competition intensified. By early June, the agreement was finalized, and Sané joined the Turkish club on a free transfer from Bayern Munich.
Following a slow start to the season, Sané has shown improvement in his performance. His contract with Galatasaray is set to run until 2028.
