Jürgen Klopp is actively pursuing Andreas Schicker to become the new sporting director at RB Salzburg, following the departure of Rouven Schröder.
Schröder has been recruited by Borussia Mönchengladbach to take over the vacant sporting director position previously held by Roland Virkus.
Reports from Sky Germany indicate that Klopp has reached out to Schicker directly; however, formal negotiations have yet to commence.
Currently, Schicker prefers to remain with TSG Hoffenheim, as he is dedicated to the club's ongoing development. His decision may be influenced by various internal political factors within the organization.
