Sky Germany reports that Borussia Dortmund held a serious meeting with Serhou Guirassy following a disagreement over a penalty during their 4-4 draw with Juventus.
During the match, Bensebaini and Guirassy were seen arguing over who should take the penalty awarded to Dortmund. Ultimately, Bensebaini stepped up and successfully converted the penalty into the lower-left corner.
According to reports, Guirassy's behavior during the incident has led to discussions with Dortmund's management. Coach Niko Kovac clarified after the game that it had been pre-determined that Bensebaini would take the penalty should the opportunity arise. However, Guirassy did not accept this decision without expressing his discontent.
Moving forward, Bensebaini has been confirmed as the club's first-choice penalty taker, indicating that similar issues are not expected to arise in the future.
