Wirtz Advises Díaz on Bundesliga Transfer, Describing League's Intensity

Having completed his €75 million move to Bayern Munich, Luis Díaz shared insights about his transition to the Bundesliga, including advice he received from fellow player Florian Wirtz.

Díaz noted, “I spoke to Florian and he told me that the Bundesliga is very intense, similar to the Premier League, that it was very physical, the stadiums are always full. He also told me that Munich is a very nice city and that I'd enjoy it. He wished me luck. I thank him for that,” highlighting the similarities between the two leagues.

In his first press conference since joining the team, Díaz expressed enthusiasm about playing alongside Harry Kane and Michael Olise, whom he knows from his time in England. He stated, “I'm really looking forward to playing with them, but also with the whole team. Harry Kane is a great striker with incredible qualities, and he will support me a lot.”

He also mentioned, “Michael Olise has similar qualities to me. I'll learn a lot from the others and am very happy to share the dressing room with them. I want to get to know them all,” indicating his eagerness to integrate with his new teammates.

Regarding his playing style, the 28-year-old emphasized his joyful approach to the game. “I like to enjoy football, I always have a smile on my face. I have a strong character on the pitch. Smiling is always important. Being at such a big club is special," Díaz remarked, reflecting on his personality and attitude during matches.
