Enzo Millot was excluded from VfB Stuttgart’s squad for their recent friendly match against Celta Vigo due to ongoing transfer discussions with multiple clubs, as reported by Kicker. Atlético Madrid is currently in the lead to acquire the player.
During the pre-season friendly on Saturday, which Stuttgart won 2-1, Millot was fit to play but was not included in the lineup. The Swabian club allowed his absence due to active negotiations concerning a potential summer transfer.
VfB Stuttgart anticipates that the 23-year-old midfielder will depart, as he has a release clause estimated at approximately €18 million.
While Atlético Madrid appears to be the frontrunner for Millot's signature, Galatasaray has also expressed interest. However, their pursuit seems to have stalled as they focus on securing Victor Osimhen on a permanent deal from Napoli.
