VfL Wolfsburg is reportedly interested in re-signing Josh Sargent, a former striker for Werder Bremen, as he may return to the Bundesliga.
According to sources, Wolfsburg is keen on acquiring the US international, who is currently playing for Norwich City in the English Championship.
The club is in search of a new striker and is considering Sargent after realizing that a deal for their primary target, Fábio Silva from Wolverhampton Wanderers, is unlikely to materialize.
With just one year remaining on Sargent's contract at Norwich, the club may be open to selling the 25-year-old player.
Sargent, who was signed for approximately €9.5 million from Werder Bremen four years ago, scored 15 goals in the Championship last season.
