
Koki Machida has officially joined TSG Hoffenheim as the club has secured the signing of the Japanese international.
The 27-year-old centre-back has signed a long-term contract with the Bundesliga team after transferring from Union Saint-Gilloise.
Andreas Schicker, Hoffenheim's managing director for sport, expressed confidence in Machida, stating, "With Koki Machida, we've found a central defender who brings exactly the qualities we were looking for in this position." He highlighted Machida's international experience and performance during Union Saint-Gilloise's title-winning season, describing him as a "no-nonsense defender" who excels in aerial challenges and possesses strong awareness and precise passing skills.
