Bayern Unwilling to Enhance Contract Proposal for Sané, Stating Firm Position

Herbert Hainer, president of Bayern Munich, has stated that the club will not be improving their contract offer to player Leroy Sané.

Sané is expected to leave Bayern when his contract expires this summer, having declined the club’s extension offer.

During the Bundesliga title celebrations at Marienplatz on Sunday, Hainer emphasized that Bayern remains firm on their proposal. “Leroy has always given his all and has delivered some outstanding performances,” he remarked.

He added, “We’re standing by our offer and won’t move an inch. That’s been clearly communicated to him. If he accepts, we’ll be pleased. If not, life goes on.”

Despite this resolute stance, Hainer noted that a final decision has yet to be made regarding Sané’s future. “Leroy has been with us for five years, and nothing is completely decided yet,” he said, expressing the club's desire to resolve the situation before the Club World Cup in June.
