FC Heidenheim coach Frank Schmidt is optimistic that Paul Wanner will be fit to face Bayer Leverkusen in the Bundesliga on Saturday.
The 18-year-old Bayern Munich loanee sustained a minor injury while on international duty with Germany's Under-21s, but it is anticipated that he will be available for the match.
"I'm assuming he'll be available in Leverkusen," Schmidt told reporters on Thursday.
In contrast, Marnon Busch and Julian Niehues will definitely miss the game due to their injuries.
Heidenheim currently sits in 14th place in the league standings ahead of their match against the fourth-placed German champions.
