Juventus is reportedly considering a renewed interest in Bayer Leverkusen striker Patrik Schick, as per Italian media reports.
Seven years prior, Schick was on the verge of transferring to Juventus from Sampdoria, but the move collapsed when he did not pass his medical examination. Subsequently, he signed with Roma and later had a loan spell at RB Leipzig before joining Bayer Leverkusen in 2020.
According to La Gazetta dello Sport, Juventus aims to bolster their attacking options in January, which could include Schick. The striker may be inclined to accept a move due to limited starting opportunities this season, having only started five matches in the ongoing 2024/25 campaign, primarily playing behind Victor Boniface.
However, concerns arise regarding Bayer Leverkusen's willingness to part with Schick mid-season, as he serves as a crucial backup to Boniface. Juventus' interest may hinge on the possibility of a loan arrangement, which Leverkusen might find unfavorable.
Alternatively, a permanent transfer with performance-related payments has been suggested, though this may also not appeal to the German club, given Schick's contract, which extends until 2027.
