RB Leipzig has announced that Yussuf Poulsen, El Chadaille Bitshiabu, and Elif Elmas are facing significant setbacks due to muscle injuries sustained during the international break.
On Wednesday, the club confirmed that Poulsen and Bitshiabu will be sidelined for several weeks as they recover from their injuries. Elmas is also dealing with a muscle issue, although a specific diagnosis has yet to be provided.
With the winter break approaching in a month, it is possible that these players may not return to action until 2025.
In a more positive development, Lutsharel Geertruida and Castello Jr are expected to resume training following their own muscular injuries.
Additionally, long-term absentees Xaver Schlager and David Raum are reportedly making progress in their recovery and could potentially return by December, contingent on their rehabilitation.
