RB Leipzig's struggles continued as they extended their winless streak to five games with a 1-0 defeat to Inter Milan at the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza.
After five matches in the Champions League, RB Leipzig has yet to secure a point, following their loss to Inter on Tuesday night.
This defeat raises concerns for head coach Marco Rose's injury-plagued squad, which has not won in their last five outings across all competitions.
Inter Milan controlled the match from the beginning, creating multiple chances and eventually scoring in the 28th minute when Federico Dimarco's cross deflected off Castello Lukeba into Leipzig's own goal.
Although Leipzig had to defend for most of the first half, they sought an equalizer after halftime. Their best opportunity came in the 70th minute when a shot from Antonio Nusa was expertly saved by Inter's goalkeeper Yann Sommer.
Despite their efforts, Leipzig could not find the back of the net and remain point-less in the Champions League.
