Man Utd star suspended for three Premier League games

Manchester United's captain Bruno Fernandes is facing a three-game suspension in the Premier League after being sent off in the match against Tottenham Hotspur on Sunday. The Portugal international was shown a red card for a reckless challenge on James Maddison, where even the slightest contact with his studs led to the punishment. Fernandes will miss the upcoming league matches against Aston Villa, Brentford, and West Ham United, but will be eligible to play in the Europa League fixtures during this period. Despite his suspension, he will be part of the squad for the upcoming game against Porto and the subsequent match against Fenerbahce in Istanbul after the international break. With Manchester United struggling in the league, manager Erik ten Hag is under immense pressure and could face the sack if the team fails to secure a win before the international break.
