Arsenal and Chelsea are both interested in securing the services of promising Palmeiras talent Vitor Reis, as reported by The Athletic. The 18-year-old has caught the eye of top European clubs, with Arsenal having made an initial enquiry but yet to make a formal bid for the young centre-back. While Palmeiras is aware of the attention Reis is receiving, they intend to hold onto him until after the Club World Cup next summer before considering any potential transfer. Despite Reis signing a new contract with a €100 million release clause, it is suggested that he could be available for a lower fee next year. Arsenal currently have a surplus of central defenders, making it unlikely for them to pursue Reis. On the other hand, Chelsea might be inclined to make an offer, especially with the potential departures of Disasi and Badiashile looming. Additionally, Chelsea is also reportedly interested in Benfica's Tomas Araujo.
