Arsenal have agreed to loan midfielder Fabio Vieira to Porto for the remainder of the season, as reported by O Jogo. The Portuguese winger, who joined the Gunners from Porto in the summer of 2022 with high expectations, has struggled to make an impact due to injuries and strong competition for places. Vieira will return to his former club on loan, with Porto covering his full salary and no fee being paid to Arsenal for the temporary move. Arsenal will be looking for Vieira to rediscover his form, as he had an impressive final season at Porto before joining them. If he can replicate that form, Arsenal may secure a good transfer fee when his loan ends in 2024/25. The Gunners paid £30 million for the 24-year-old and will be aiming to recoup the entire transfer fee next summer.
